Congratulations to the 2022 WI Swimming SCY Regionals High Point Winners!

Congratulations to the Schroeder YMCA Swim Team quartet of Brody LePine, Jack Paull, John Paul Brostowitz, and Josh Mims. This fast group broke FOUR Boys 13&14 state record: 200 Free Relay, 200 Medley Relay, 400 Free Relay and 400 Medley Relay. Awesome racing, Schroeder boys!

TWO STATE RECORDS! Gabby LePine of SSTY took down both the 100 and 200 Yard Breaststroke state records at the Wisconsin 13&O State Championships last weekend. Gabby’s 100 Yard Breaststroke time of 1:00.51 and a time of 2:13.88 in the 200! Congrats, Gabby!

NEW STATE RECORD! Congratulations to John Paul Brostowitz (pictured right) of the Schroeder YMCA Swim Team who broke the Boys 13&14 200 Yard Backstroke state record. John Paul’s time of 1:51.08 slid under the previous time set by teammate Jack Sullivan (pictured left). Congrats!

NEW STATE RECORD! Elmbrook Swim Club’s Lucy Thomas lowered her own Girls 15&16 100 Yard Breaststroke state record at the 2022 Wisconsin 13&O State Championships. Her time of 59.32 shaved almost a ½ second off her previous time of 59.74 which she swam at A+ last month. Congrats!

TWO NEW STATE RECORDS! Congratulations to Elmbrook’s Maggie Wanezek who broke both the Girls 15&16 and Senior 100 IM state records at the 2022 Wisconsin 13&O State Championships. Maggie’s time of 54.51 broke the previous record of 55.07. Congrats Maggie!

NEW STATE RECORD! Congratulations to Reese Tiltmann from the Elmbrook Swim Club on her record-setting swim in the Girls 17&18 200 Yard Breaststroke at the NCSA Spring Swimming Championships. Reese’s time of 2:13.75 clipped the previous time of 2:13.88. Great job Reese!

NEW STATE RECORD! Congrats to Will Hayon from the Mid-Wisconsin Wave Makers who broke the Boys 17&18 100 Yard Butterfly state record at the NCSA Spring Swimming Championships. Will’s time of 46.92 beat the previous record of 47.15 held by Matt McHugh in 2013. Congrats, Will!
