Our team started our first-ever See For Yourself tour this morning with a visit with Port Milwaukee Director Jackie Q. Carter to discuss shipping opportunities via the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway System. Next up is a visit to DeLong Co.’s new Export Terminal.

Day 1 of our See For Yourself tour wrapped with a visit to Quality Roasting’s HQs in Valders, where we got an up-close look at how this longstanding operation processes high-quality soymeal for dairy rations.

“We are building for the future.” To start Day 2 of our See For Yourself, checkoff leaders visited the Brandon Road Lock & Dam in Joliet, Il., to learn more about the many economic & environmental benefits of transportation via our river systems.
