Injured Possum Rescued 💚 A St Ives resident called WIRES after finding a ringtail possum in their garage. It had grazes on its paws and wounds on its back and tail. Thankfully, it was alert and otherwise okay! Emergency Responder Rachel took it to a local vet for treatment.

Fishermen on Sydney’s northern beaches spotted a white-bellied sea eagle struggling to fly and called WIRES. Volunteer Candice carefully rescued the bird from dangerous rocks and brought it to Taronga Zoo’s Vet Hospital! #WildlifeRescue
