This session, I supported bills to help cover the costs of breast cancer screenings and to repair rehabilitation technology through the Medical Assistance program. I am happy to support legislation that will have a positive impact on Wisconsinites health across the state.

With the 2023-2024 Legislative Session coming to a close, I'd like to highlight many of the public safety bills I proposed. This continues to be a top priority for my district and, as the Vice Chair of the Assembly Committee on Judiciary, I was able to step up to support law

Another round of late Friday afternoon vetoes by Governor Evers.

Today he vetoed crucial tax relief for Wisconsin citizens by rejecting a middle-class tax cut, relief for retirees, and support for married couples.

I’m incredibly disappointed Governor Evers vetoed much needed tax relief today targeted at helping our middle class, retirees, and married couples. Wisconsinites NEED relief from inflation and yet they will be stuck with higher taxes and more government spending.

Gov. Tony Evers today vetoed a nearly $800 million income tax cut passed by Republicans, along with bills that would have increased the income tax credit for married couples and raised the amount of retirees' income exempt from the state income tax.

This year's session saw a lot of accomplishments that are going to move Wisconsin forward.
