Hey Coach Botelho - just want to give you a head’s up to plan for this monster coming through the Silver Lake ranks! He had his first scrimmage tonight against Whitman Youth football, so I was a little torn on who to root for. 😬

This week, the AP Lang classes expressed gratitude through letters to faculty, then enjoyed our first “Langsgiving” before rally, where they had some old-fashioned fun, playing games and sharing treats and laughs with each other. A new tradition for sure! Happy Thanksgiving!🦃

After a 3 year hiatus, Panther Trivia is back! This year, the Golf and Tennis Squads are teaming up to raise money for both programs. If you are unable to make it, but know of anyone who is able to or are interesting in donating a raffle prize, please reach out to either coach!

Today’s lesson in AP Lang (now that the exam is over): interacting with humans FACE-To-FACE! Eye contact. Conversation. Creativity. We had puzzles, chess, checkers, Banagrams, Scrabble, Jenga, cards, etc. Truly a throwback of sorts.
