With Red Flag Warnings in effect across the northern tier of the Tri-States today, we are in First Alert. Avoid outdoor burning as low humidity and gusty winds will raise fire risk. Showers are possible tomorrow, some of which may be on the stronger side.

Red Flag Warnings are up through 8pm this evening. We remain in First Alert for brush fire risk, so avoid burning today as winds will also be blustery. While some showers are possible tomorrow, the main axis of severe weather looks to fire off to our east.

Last night's cold front has quickly pulled temperatures down thanks to gusty westerly winds. A good deal of clouds this morning will decrease throughout the day. Many spots will struggle to get into the upper 30s for daytime highs. wgem.com/weather

Compared to earlier this week, temperatures will be pretty chilly this weekend, with wind chills dropping into the single digits by Sunday and Monday morning. At least we will warm back up by Tuesday!

We're going to stay cold through the weekend, with wind chills around or just below zero tonight and tomorrow night, before warming up again by Tuesday. By early Thursday AM we may see a few showers return to the Tri-States.

It will remain cold today, with temperatures topping out in the mid 20s with gusty winds from the northwest. We will stay cold through Monday, until winds shift to be back from the South by Tuesday AM which will help rise our temperatures to around 50°.
