This is Bikamsulton, she is part of a WFP program in Tajikistan working to address climate change by improving water infrastructure. Because of this project, Bikamsulton enjoys a constant supply of water for both cooking and watering her fields. 🌱

40% of the global population lives in areas that are highly vulnerable to climate extremes and in 2022, climate extremes were the primary driver of hunger for 56.8 million people.

🆕🫓3 bakeries in northern #Gaza are back up and running after WFP convoys delivered much-needed fuel and flour this week.

These are the only bakeries working in the north, where families are facing the real possibility of #famine without more urgent assistance.
