📢The #CAADPKampala25 Summit has officially kicked off. 🎥 Tune in to the live event on UBC UGANDA 👉youtube.com/live/Xurj_FKg0… Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Uganda 🇺🇬 African Union MAAIF 🇺🇬
Uganda’s Prime Minister RT. Hon. Nabbanja Robinah. PRIME MINISTER has opened the Comprehensive African #Agriculture Development Programme #CAADP Summit. Leaders & stakeholders will deliberate over the next two days on strategies to boost #foodproduction, improve nutrition, & reduce hunger across Africa.
1/ At #CAADPKampala25 today, our FAO in Africa Rep, Abebe Haile-Gabriel, addressed the Youth & Women in #AgrifoodSystems Pavilion. Focus: Transforming Africa's agrifood systems—and why women and youth must be at the centre. This is why it matters 👇
4/ 👩🎓👨🎓Africa’s youth—70% under 30, are the future. Food and Agriculture Organization programs like #YouthinAfrica program #OYA & #GreenJobs have trained thousands, enabling young people to start agribusinesses & shape sustainable food systems. #Youth are not just participants; they’re leaders.
#CAADPKampala25 also included a ''Youth and Women Pavilion'' where discussions led by FAO in Africa are being held, focusing on the place for youth and women in the new decade of CAADP, especially in driving transformation of agrifood systems. #OneVoiceOneLand #Agenda2063

Special thanks to FAO in Uganda for supporting WFF_UgandaChapter leaders to attend the #CAADPKampala25. With 70% of Africa's youth actively involved in agriculture, their integration is vital to achieving #Agenda2063 Together, we drive sustainable food systems and Africa’s brighter future
