On this date 70 years ago, the first feature-length True-Life Adventures film, 'The Living Desert' (1953) was released. 'The Living Desert' marked the first film distributed by Disney's new Buena Vista Distribution Company. 🦂

We're seeing quadruple for the 70th anniversary of 'Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Boom' (1953). The first cartoon filmed in CinemaScope®, this Academy Award®-winning short film was directed by Charles Nichols and Ward Kimball, and featured color styling by Eyvind Earle. 🎵
