Our next weather maker is on the way, with showers & t-showers returning overnight & continuing into Thursday AM. Some see drier stretches later Thursday into Friday then, while others see more showers. We all get wind then by Friday though. #ndwx #mnwx

Split skies: mist/fog, 50s and rain in the north, more sun, some 70s and even a rainbow in the south! How much rain did you get?

After a chilly start (the coldest of the season so far in FM & GF), stubborn clouds kept much of the area stuck in the 40s today. We'll look for another chilly night tonight, w/ areas of fog too, before we enjoy sunshine, light winds, & highs in the 50s for Thursday! #ndwx #mnwx

Two systems ahead bring us two chances for flakes. Stray showers later Thursday turn to scattered flurries/mix for the early hours on Friday. The second system then brings some light snow Friday night-Saturday AM, w/ light accumulation possible to the W/SW of the RRV. #ndwx #mnwx

Tonight we'll see Clipper #1 roll in, bringing us a mix of flurries/sprinkles for Friday AM. Minimal impacts there. Different story for Friday night-Saturday AM with Clipper #2, when we'll see periods of light snow & some accumulation, especially west of the RRV. #ndwx #mnwx

Snow is already ongoing out west, & it'll slide east & then SE across parts of our region tonight/tomorrow AM. Corridor of accumulation still expected from north-central to SE ND, with more so just flakes for the RRV. Cold temps then continue the rest of the weekend. #ndwx #mnwx

We are dealing with a few snow showers across parts of the Valley and eastern ND this evening. Some dustings of accumulation and brief periods of slightly reduced visibility are possible before these clear south out of our area after ~11pm. #ndwx #mnwx

After this evening's few snow showers clear, we'll see more snow showers build in for NE parts of the area overnight into tomorrow. Some lake effect snow will be possible from Lake of the Woods as well. The Valley will be dry but breezy w/ wind chills in the 1s-10s. #ndwx #mnwx

Today's wind decreases to WNW 10-15 mph overnight, with temps falling into the upper 20s to lower 30s by tomorrow morning. We'll see mainly clear skies tonight too, which is great news if you want to head out and try to see the Auroras tonight! #ndwx #mnwx

Temps peak tomorrow in the lower 60s for many, but clouds will be gradually increasing through the day ahead of a cold front that brings some showers after dark into Friday night for Fargo. Temps go tumbling then thru the weekend, back into the 30s to start next week. #ndwx #mnwx

Today was likely the year's last hurrah for warm temps, as we had near record highs today across North Dakota. Now, a cold front is bringing some scattered showers across the region this evening through tonight. Breezy & much cooler weather follows then for tomorrow. #ndwx #mnwx

After a rather chilly start for the day today in spots like Bemidji, temps still managed to climb into the 40s for highs in Fargo & Grand Forks. We'll watch bands of rain pass by to our south in SD overnight, with our next chance for a few showers then on Wednesday. #ndwx #mnwx

Increasing clouds tonight come ahead of scattered showers for Wednesday. It's not a washout, but you'll want to have the umbrella ready, especially in the mid-morning to early afternoon for the RRV. Highs reach the mid to upper 40s in the Valley ahead of a cold front. #ndwx #mnwx

Today's rain showers did manage to bring a few spots 1/4" to nearly 1/3" of rain, but now those showers are dying down this evening. We stay overcast tonight, but then clouds will be clearing through the day tomorrow west to east, with highs in the lower 40s for many. #ndwx #mnwx

Our average highs are already back in the mid 30s this time of year. Our high temps thru this weekend will be in the mid/upper 40s (maybe even near 50F Monday), so it'll be your last chance to get the Christmas Lights up before much colder weather returns next week! #ndwx #mnwx

We've got plenty of sunshine, light winds, and mild (by later November standards) temps in store for this weekend, so enjoy it and get the Christmas lights up outside if you haven't yet because by Thanksgiving Day, our high temps will be back into the lower 20s! #ndwx #mnwx

I can't think of anything more fitting for Midwest weather than going from 60s this past weekend to our season's first winter storm tomorrow. Look out for #snow and wind on your Tuesday, with drifting snow and slick spots possible on the roads through Wednesday. #ndwx #mnwx

Even as the snow & wind dwindles across our neck of the woods, travel remains very treacherous across much of ND & northern MN, as the snow is pushing east/southeast into more central MN & northern WI now. Find our area's latest #snow reports in the video below too. #ndwx #mnwx
