A clearly very angry TC after the game: No problem with genuine mistakes, but where did the extra two minutes after seven in stoppage time come from? Also disappointed officials didn’t see handball. Acknowledged very bad start, pleased with character #watfordfc
A real sickener but it shouldn't detract from another excellent coaching performance from Tom Cleverley. Exceptional out-of-possession - especially the high press, decisive substitutions and he's instilled character.

Of course a last minute goal hurts, but I’d put that down to #WatfordFC ’s really poor start to the game. Terrible defending for all the goals.
Excellent character to get back into it, but that last minute goal was avoidable (Handball too).

•Really poor start. Players looked lost in the new formation.
•Both goals were poor defending.
•Asprilla has dragged us back into this- he’s been excellent.
•Southampton shaky when pressed, particularly the keeper. Got to keep doing that.
