Sunday afternoon in New Westminster, the visiting Victoria Shamrocks spoiled the Salmonbellies' home opener with an 18-4 victory. Rylee Marsh led the attack with 2 goals and 5 assists, with Colin Jeffrey and Dustin Hanzelka combining for 21 saves in net.

The later match Sunday in Coquitlam saw the reigning champion Ladner Pioneers spoil the home floor return of the Bandits by defeating the hosts 10-8. Dylan Lacroix (3G, 2A) and Coady Adamson (2G, 3A) led scoring and Alex Buque turned aside 53 of 61 shots for his first W.

Wednesday night in Nanaimo, the Timbermen were upended by their island rival Shamrocks 10-7. Rylee Marsh (5G) and Jackson Boyd (5A) were the points leaders and Colin Jeffrey notched the win between the pipes.

The second game Wednesday featured the Bandits visiting the Salmonbellies, with Coquitlam walking away with an 18-3 decision. Erik Forsselius had a monster night with 6 goals and 4 assists, and Connor Nichols picked up the win in net by blocking 28 of 31 shots.

The final match of the week saw the Bandits travel to North Shore Friday night and ruin the Indians' home opener by a score of 8-3. Coquitlam (2-1), led by Brendan Murray (1G, 4A), never trailed and outshot the Indians (0-1) 60-47. Tristan Lomas stopped 44 of 47 shots in goal.
