The QBO is still too weak in the lower stratosphere. Martina Bramberger NorthWest Research Associates introduces the obstacle effect of wind blowing over the top of the convective cell. 💨☁️
Day 3 of the QBOi workshop hosted Lady Margaret Hall starting with Kauru Sato. Interhemispheric coupling is more favourable during QBO-E phase.
