On Saturday 13th September, there will be a community event at Westhill Community Church to raise awareness around CPR and Defibrillators. There is also a quiz to complete which offers the chance to win a prize. ❤️

Connor (S5) represented Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 in Trampolining at the Inter Regional Challenge Cup Finals in Birmingham in July & came 5th overall in Great Britain! Connor will be competing the Scottish National Finals at the end of September. Go Connor!

Free heart testing for anyone age 14 - 35 at Milne Hall, Kirkto of Skene next month.

On Tuesday, 16 September 2025, officers from the North East Road Policing Unit will run another session of the New Driver Early Intervention Scheme. The hour-long event will take place at 7pm at North Anderson Drive Fire Station. [email protected]

Tonight we held our first parental engagement event. Parents and carers could visit faculties to see the curriculum being taught to our BGE young people. Lots of interactive activities. A repeat of this session will be held on Tuesday 16th September. #SchoolCommunity

One of our senior pupils, Isla (S5) have recently earned a place in the Caledonia U16 Scotland Regional Rugby Squad after competing against the top 80 girls in Scotland! With only 23 spaces available, this is an outstanding achievement to be proud of! Well done, Isla!

Great turn out to celebrate European Day of Languages today with a Kahoot quiz, thanks to our Language Ambassadors for hosting!! Amazing to see so much time being spent learning languages with very impressive XP earned too in our Duolingo competition!🇪🇺🌍🥳

It’s our final day of school before the October holidays and we are all dressing in something that makes us happy in support of Young Minds. Our reg classes were also asked to come up with some peer support messages for our display!

Last month some of our young people visited shmu and made a video all about Westhill Academy. They had a great day and really enjoyed working with the staff at SHMU.
