That time William Regal knocked out the Big Show with Brass Knuckles, only for Big Show to fall on Regal and pick up the victory 😂

imagine a Samoa Joe sitcom where he gets a normal office job after retiring and has to learn to resolve conflict without using violence but ultimately fails every episode

It is so important to be comfortable sitting outside the critical consensus from time to time - hell, maybe more than that. Not out of contrarianism, but to have faith in your own opinions. Because if you don't why should your readers?

THE WILD ROBOT lives alongside Wall-E and The Iron Giant in the pantheon of robots too good for us in a striking animated story about belonging. One that’ll make us want to strive to be better than who we are. Chris Sanders, one of the best American storytellers in animation rn.

#TheWildRobotMovie is very good. It's the best non-sequel DWA toon (noting 'Puss in Boots 2') since 'Abominable' in late 2019. It's precisely the sort of "fantastical, weighty dramedy" flick DreamWorks Animation should be making to stand out alongside Illumination, Disney/Pixar and Sony.

patrick. Hey! Here's how: grips built truss over water, techno-crane on top. Stunt driver splashes down hard, parks under bridge. LOCK CAMERA, Texas Switch as Aaron Pierre takes wheel. Resume camera move as Aaron exits, free-climbs bridge (no wires). VFX seamlessly stitches the takes.

It was clear Dennis Lim felt I was ruining his Q+A by asking about this but I was riding high on having just seen Transit and Petzold was ready & happy to speak his truth. Incredibly nice man, he walked up and shook my hand afterwards- I don't regret a fucking thing.

Aaron Pierre definitely has what it takes to be an action star. But it's a little disheartening to see people on here asking for him to be cast as 007 or Blade. Like, here's a fresh new talent, and you want to push him into a franchise instead of new stuff? That's depressing.

He’s a fantastic actor. I passed on the Bikeriders role but he beat me out clean for Rebel Ridge. Lovingly-jealous. Rebel Ridge was amazing.
