Here's one thing that cannot be missed about the budget: The Trump Administration is proposing cutting more than a trillion dollars from Medicare & Medicaid in part to pay for extending the massive tax cuts to the top 1% that Republicans passed in 2017. This is a disgrace.

In an effort to avoid voting in favor of the House's resolution to terminate Trump’s #FakeEmergency, GOP senators are proposing legislation to allow Trump to violate the Constitution *just this once.* The House will not take up this legislation to give President Trump a pass.

The college buy-in scandal came as shock to some, but to many of us it's further evidence of a system built to benefit the rich and disenfranchise the poor. We need an overhaul of our education system, so that it rewards the hard work students put in, not their parents wallet.

I filled out an application to be a poll worker in Richland County. It took 2 minutes to fill it out. I then scanned it in and e-mailed it. We must increase the poll workers to decrease the voter suppression associated with long lines and less precincts open.
