The road between Little Wenlock and The Wrekin is again completely covered and impassable due to the snow drifts. It looks very impressive but one of our local farmers is on the way to help get it clear. #wmgrit

Thanks for everyone's patience - glad to report that the A41 between Weston Heath and Newport is now OPEN again.

The big thaw has started and this is going to be helped by slightly milder temperatures over the next few days. Meanwhile, some fairly impressive scenes along Pitchcroft Lane, Newport where soil and snow have both drifted off the adjacent fields.
