Watched the Forever Just Blume documentary (love!!) and was fascinated by the banned books craziness going on in the 80s with the same old tired speeches by self-righteous people. Apparently we’re just back to square one. 🙄 As JB says, a book can’t hurt a child.

Someone on FB just went off about how the far left is canceling books that they find offensive and then he linked to the ALA most banned books list and I’m like, um…far left?? 🤣 It wasn’t a typo on his part, he just dumb lol.

So they ban my book from young readers, confuse me with @oprah , fail to specify what parts of my poetry they object to, refuse to read any reviews, and offer no alternatives…Unnecessary #bookbans like these are on the rise, and we must fight back 👊🏿 DONATE here:
