Last night a hose was driven over at a fire scene. The VFD reminds motorists that Driving over a fire hose could result in the loss of a critical water supply to a fire engine and the crew fighting a fire. Don’t drive over a fire hose! It could be a matter of life and death.

The Ambulance Committee reviews final specifications for a new ambulance, which although ordered this year, will not arrive until mid to late 2023. When over 300,000 miles a year are collectively placed on VFD ambulances, a robust replacement schedule is a necessity.
