Kayne Smith and Dalton Braybon both go 2-0 and advance to the second day of the EOWL Jr High Championships. Wrestling starts back up at 10:00 am Saturday morning.

As we approach postseason, one of my favorite things that folks often forget are the “go getters”… These are the guys who take all sorts of losses during the season but elevate their game for the big show! Sometimes we forget and say “oh this guy doesn’t look as good this year”-

Congratulations to JAG Athletics on winning the team championship at the MVAC Wrestling Tournament at Waterloo today. Also congratulations to Coach Andel and Keegan Sell who won Coach of the Year and Most Valuable Wrestler awards today

For anyone planning to attend. This years sectional tournament will start at 10:00 am at Northwestern High School

Willis, Fryer, Robinson, and King are headed to districts. Porter and Hakin are looking to advance as possible alternates.

This weekends district tournament will be at Independence High School. Wrestling starts Friday night at 4:00 pm and will continue Saturday morning at 10:00.

Congrats Rex, Beet, Earl, Jayden, and Jeremiah on receiving all league honors!

Winter sports banquet is Wednesday 3/20. Dinner will be served at 6:00 and the ceremony will begin at 6:30.
