The fact that you can show sex in a movie *without* it being pornographic is what makes it tragic that it’s falling out of vogue, the erotic is dying and we should be sad about that.

I'd put it differently. The more maximalist the side that has an existing state and nukes is the more maximalist the side that has no state is going to be in response.

Weirdly similar to the opening of British novelist Stewart Home's BLOW JOB where fash skins & antifas street brawl each other until the cops show up & they turn to fighting the cops in a chaotically comedic scene while the elder skins scream 'No the cops are good white men!'

Alot of people ask why Israel/Palestine is focused on so much. And I'm left wondering if it's dawned on these people that it's a major 20th century conflict has lasted into the 21 century. WWII ended. The Cold War ended. The Troubles ended.

I think it makes the same point your making but better than Seinfeld did. Just my opinion though.

Subjectively, I find Seinfeld's stand-up boring. I also think his point was made more concisely by John Cleese: namely, all humor has a butt of the joke ergo some1, somewhere will be on the receiving end/offended.

But yes, my judging Seinfeld is clouded by dislike of his comedy

Yeah, putting all this aside. Jerry Seinfeld's stand-up is the most boring, milquetoast observational humor imaginable so I don't really get why he's complaining about the lack of edge in comedy.
