This is awful. A senior doctor in Jakarta has died from COVID19 due to a lack of personal protective equipment. I am so scared for all the amazing medical workers I know in hospitals and puskesmas across Indonesia. Please please take care. Joko Widodo please help them. 😭

These random people held up signs for us outside our ED today and gave me hope again. Then, I cried for the first time during all of this. Thank you, random strangers, your kindness means more than you can know. 🙏
