I find it utterly bizarre how people are willing to support the super rich who hide their money in offshore accounts, than support disabled. We are a scapegoat for them. Tax avoidance costs the UK tens of billions. Disabled people are not the issue. Stop looking the wrong way!

No, you don’t have a right to know my medical history. No, you don’t have a right to say whether or not you think I’m “genuinely disabled”. The only people who do, are medical professionals, assessors, etc... whom I give my consent to have that info.

Look, I totally get it when people say things like “I paid into the system for years so I deserve support“. But it creates a harmful divide. People deserve support regardless of whether or not they have “paid into the system” through employment, or through any other means.
