Please join us in keeping our partners at the El Monte Police Department in our thoughts and prayers after two of their officers were shot in an on duty incident this afternoon. We stand by to assist and support them as this incident continues to unfold.

Suns not out, but guns out, 12.22.21 at 1:04pm near Thousand Oaks Mall. Call came out for man w/ gun. Deputies found him near Olive Garden & took into custody at gunpoint. Gun hanging from his neck was pellet gun w/ no orange tip. Arrested on brandishing replica firearm charge.
