“Water maidens” live in Cantabrian springs and rivers. On sunny days they come onto land to dry their skeins of golden silk, and where their feet touch the earth, fleeting yellow blooms appear. Anyone who finds a flower before it vanishes is gifted a happy life. #FairytaleTuesday
