To balance out the horror stories of bad behavior on our roads- Riding up to our local Supervalu yesterday with my 9yo, a driver behind us followed quietly and well back from us all the way up our road.More like this great driver would make our roads such nicer places to be.

I almost never hear claims of road ownership from people riding bikes. Any discussion of more equitable road space sharing however, and claims of ownership (I pay "road tax") come thick and fast from the same road group that say cyclists think they own the roads. Projection ?
