How does this work?

#1) 12.17.24 — The Electoral College will convene. 17 states have no laws requiring electors vote for prez/VP that their state selected by popular vote. If no candidate gets 270, have unbound electors begin cutting a deal with one party for concessions/posts.

#2) If that doesn’t get a candidate to 270, then U.S. House decides prez.

But each state delegation gets *1 vote. A candidate must get 26 states to win WH.

In 1824, Andrew Jackson won plurality of electors but didn’t get required #.
U.S. House chose John Quincy Adams instead.

The newly sworn-in U.S. House in January 2025 would be the one to decide president under 12th Amendment.

What could this look like?

26 of the state delegations in the U.S. House are currently GOP controlled. Would put some extra focus on AZ, IA & MN House races next November.👇🏼
