I agree. Accountability. If you are doing a job that requires you to look into the actions of others. You have to be equally accountable for your actions in investigating things. It should not be pressure from the amount of complaints that finally gets things started.

That person with account access at Fujitsu could equally just place the difference as a further transaction into an account of their own. Draw it out at leisure and not share the spoils with anyone. It needs investigating. All of the shortfalls made a surplus somewhere
