I was brave enough to include a poem in my Gordon Conference talk about the electrostatics of ions captured in crown ethers measured by vibrational spectroscopy. Thanks to @icjennikins for getting us started on this research, and Michelle Francl for encouraging poetic expression

In loving memory of Dr. Thomas Meixner Tom was a wonderful and kind person, whose larger-than-life approach to being and doing inspired those around him and elevated the community. The world is different without him. He will be missed and loved by all. University of Arizona

Really looking forward to visiting USC Chemistry tomorrow! Can’t wait to hear about the cool work going on there, catch up with Jahan Dawlaty and share some of our newest research. Doe doe is coming along too thanks to my thoughtful daughter. Academic Mom, PhD
Thank you to Greg Scholes for the invite to Princeton Chemistry! I had a wonderful time getting to meet with students and to hear about lots of cool research. It was so nice to get to meet Marissa Weichman in person and talk to the students in Princeton Women in Chemistry !
Our recent paper joint with @SharadaLab is published. It is on CO2 capture by anilines and its control by the substituents. This is also my student Berk Delibaş first paper! He also gets the credit for the TOC figure. More to come on this topic later! pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…
A new paper from our group in collaboration with Elisa Tomat has just been published in the Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters! It is about the temperature-dependent, spin-tunable properties of a fascinating stable radical system. Find it here: doi.org/10.1021/acs.jp…
