S's in Mrs. Morfin Olivera's class spent time dissecting a squid 🦑 & learning about all of its internal & external structures. S's in Mrs. Kelley's class celebrated their "Student of the Week" while students in Mrs. Domingos' class used their whiteboards to solve Math problems.

Our students got to meet our Bullying Prevention Specialist, Ms. Daniela, who visited classrooms to share a bit about herself. We ended the day with a PTO meeting, where our PTO team was hard at work planning the upcoming Fall Festival 🎃🍁. #allin #gowildcats🐾 #whynot

Our first ever Small School Network was AMAZING! We had teachers and administrators from Lagunita, SanAntonioUSD, Big Sur, Chualar, and Mission Union school districts come together for an afternoon of collaboration, conversation, and discovery! Monterey County Office of Education Josh Van Norman

A couple years ago, a few districts came together to brainstorm ways to provide support for staff. Today, we held our first small school district collaborative. Thx to Mission, Big Sur, Chualar, Lagunita, and SanAntonioUSD along with Monterey County Office of Education for making this happen!

Ms. Gillett & Mr. Fields are at the League of Innovative Schools convening in Los Angeles. They spent time visiting two different districts in LA. over the past few days. 3rd graders spent time practicing their Math on dry erase boards while Ms. Voigt worked with students on ELD.
