VFA's ED spoke at the Virginia Farm Bureau Forest Advisory Council meeting, hosted at the Speyside Bourbon Cooperage in Atkins. The visit included a tour of Speyside's Stave Mill in Glade Spring. Many thanks to the Speyside team for hosting and showing us their world-class operation!
Yesterday, Governor Abigail Spanberger and Katie K. Frazier visited VDOF’s Augusta Nursery. Forest Technician Darwin Rhodes then assisted the Governor who took one of the bulldozers VDOF uses for wildfire suppression for a test drive.
