As teachers, TAs are our most valuable resource. We looked a key EEF research into the impact of TAs, discussed how trainees could use TAs to support follow high quality instruction form them, plan and support TAs in their role and looked at scenarios to avoid common pitfalls.

We are seeing huge increase in ‘That’s So Gay’ used as an insult, especially in primary schools. I’m in a primary school in Cardiff today working with all of KS2 to develop understanding of what gay means, through the lens of family, to raise empathy & stop its use as an insult.
