Great night supporting SSAFA Worcestershire’s WW1 event. I talked about the missing of WW1, the Commonwealth War Graves, the Unknown Warrior and case 462. Sjt JH Bott DCM, is now remembered in Hooge Crater Cemetery. Also, discussed me working for Leger Battlefield Tours Holts Tours GLP TRAINING
One of the lady’s on my coach, dad was sadly killed at Arnhem Bridge on the 19th September 1944. Bdr William Bradley was with the 1st Airlanding Anti Tank Battery RA. Very special moment Leger Battlefield Tours Royal Artillery
Visited the Oosterbeek cemetery again this afternoon with the group. Two of the tour group had fathers who were sadly killed during the Arnhem battle, L/Sgt McGregor and Bdr Bradley. Was lovely to lay crosses from the group and pay our respects Leger Battlefield Tours
