Varsity goes undefeated to win the Harvard tourney for the 4th straight time. JV2 fills in for a missing team last minutes and goes 2-2 against varsity competition. Everybody played a lot and stayed healthy. That’s a good day of vball!

Cougars with a BIG home win over Niles North, 25-9, 19-25, 25-17. That’s 7 wins in the last 8 matches. FR and JV teams win, too. JV down 6-14, wins 2 of every 3 pts the rest of the way (Coach Spig’s favorite) and wins 26-24 in the third. Back at it tomorrow at Mundelein.

Cougars fall on the road to Mundelein. JV had some strong bleacher dance moves, but that wasn’t enough to overcome an errant night of hitting. Second round of CSL play starts Tuesday!

Cougar 🧹 vs. Regina on Sr. Night. The all senior lineup gets it done. Todorovich big with 7 kills and enough digs that now she’ll never stop about wanting to play Libero. 🙄 Lots of great play from seven great seniors.

Cougars get another CSL win, 25-12, 25-19 over Maine East. That’s 13-6 since the first two weeks and playing our best just a week from the playoffs. F-S and FR also with wins tonight.

Took us a set to catch up to the speed, but once we did, we gave #1 St. Francis a battle, falling in the Regional championship 9-25, 18-25. These girls fought hard and loud and together to the end. Very proud of the effort, the attitude, and the pride these girls showed in VHVB.
