Today is pancake day in France ( #chandeleur , Candlemas). UK #pancakeday is fourteen days later on Fat Tuesday.
Considering how crap 2021 is turning this far, I'm starting #14daysofpancakes and as we can't travel, testing pancakes recipes from around the world 🥞🗺️.
Day 2/14 of our #14daysofpancakes Kimchi pancakes (🇰🇷) with a vegan recipe from Meera Sodha - ours are pinkish due to our red cabbage kimchi google.com/amp/s/amp.theg…
Day 3/14 of #14daysofpancakes is back to Brittany, with some crêpes - with a batter enriched with some rhum arrangé aux mirabelles picked too many years ago with Thibault ⭐⭐ and the opportunity to see friends as we delivered crêpes in the neighbourhood 🥞🥞🥞🥞🥞
Day 4/14 of #14daysofpancakes and time for moong dal pancakes (🇮🇳), recipe from Madhur Jaffrey - with an intense green colour, and impressively detailed cooking instructions
Day 5/14 #14daysofpancakes and it's off to 🇲🇦 for mlaouis (which I should have rolled out thinner) and baghrir (which are so incredibly easy to make)
Day 6/14 of #14daysofpancakes trying out 🇯🇵 soufflé pancakes - recipe chosen (using some lovely Boundary beer with a perfect name for current times) was quite faffy for ok results, will try another recipe next time 🥞🥞🥞

Day 8/14 of #14daysofpancakes and time for a Dutch Baby from Smitten Kitchen - extra billowy and slightly overcooked but delicious! Weirdly a huge 🐾 appeared while cooking.... Haunted oven 👻🥞 smittenkitchen.com/2019/03/extra-…
