The last two games might be the worst games the Knights have played since Utah destroyed Vegas 6-0 at The Fortress almost a year ago. There were bad losses to the Islanders, Detroit, and Nashville last year, too. But today may've been worse. Winter Classic-level bad.

Hopefully later tonight, if someone asks him if he has any birthday goals, he can say, "yeah, I had four!"

Why did the Avs win? The hockey gods punished the Vegas Golden Knights for not showing a former player any love. Vegas gave Miromanov a "Welcome Back" graphic, but not Vegas Vic. Dude had 15 goals and was +17 last year for VGK.
