Great day so far VETTrust networking with members of the profession and getting the chance to discuss SRUC’s new Vet School. Our Dean, Prof. Argo, below, is discussing our mission around supporting Scotland’s natural economy, in particular in remote and rural communities.

SRUC staff from the School of Vet Medicine were delighted to be at the VETTrust conference in Stirling meeting practitioners, industry reps and discussing how vet education can meet the needs of the profession along with BVA, The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, and UofG Vet.

Topical issues so far this morning at VETTrust, covering sustainability in farming, Johne's control and responsible use of antimicrobials. Huge thanks to Tim Geraghty of SRUC Veterinary Services, Neil Fox of Clyde Farm Team and Karen Bond of NMR for their engaging and practical presentations.
