Registrar of Voters Ascencion announced official certification November 5, 2024 General Election. 394,197 ballots were cast in the general election; with 84.17% of the voters utilizing their VBM ballot and 15.83% voting in person. 76.25% overall voter. Read more @venturavote.org

After hours pic for Valentine's Day of the team that set up the wedding rooms, produced marriage licenses, performed ceremonies and completed marriage certificates for over 45 couples. Valentine's Day or any other day, it's one of the best part of our job. Congratulations to all!

Ventura County's Real Estate Fraud Advisory Team celebrated their 20th year at this year's Symposium. Michelle Ascencion joined the District Attorney's Office and the Real Estate lawyers, realtors and other REFAT professionals highlighting new and continuing programs Ventura County REFAT

We welcomed the California Secretary of State Shirley N. Weber, Ph.D., for a visit to our office. This marked the first visit from a California Secretary of State in over a decade. Full press release and video can be found at vcclerkrecorder.org.

Great Bring Your Kid to Work Day! Michelle and staff volunteers handed out Pet Birth Certificates, Home Sweet Home Deeds and held an Election for future voters. We received 157 ballots (some overvotes of many favorites). Drum roll: Results of the Election attached. County of Ventura

One of the hardest working (and the nicest) members of our team celebrated her 60th today. Everyone got together to give Josie an outstanding lunch. Happy Birthday, Josie, and a great year ahead!
