“Total Economic Blackout.' is a protest to counteract the removal of DEI and disinterest in equity and human rights. We are in support of a movement that aims to bring awareness through monetary boycotts and policy changes. On this day shop locally and shop #BlackOwned

My beautiful, sweet friend & former nurse Miss Lily turned 103 yesterday. She received the #orderofcanada and #orderofontario. She founded the Sickle cell association of Ontario over 60yrs ago & fought fearlessly for patients. Happy Birthday. God Bless Miss Lily. Love you lots❤️

It’s August. Parents are getting ready for the expensive “back-to-school-run” for their children. We are so grateful to CIBC staff and their Black Employee Network for donating backpacks and school supplies so we can support families in need. #GiveBack #backtoschool2025

Today we met to discuss the Refugee crisis in York Region in 2021/2022 and the United Way Greater Toronto Refugee report. I met with one of the 1st African refugees we worked with in #Vaughan The stories are painful. Our services are needed more than ever. There’s still work to be done.
