Yesterday, USASOC kicked off its annual Best Ranger Competition! The day started off with an ACFT, followed by a 250 meter swim and then the 18th Airborne Corps obstacle course. Every year, the competition showcases the readiness and fitness of our elite Soldiers.

I spent two hours with two SPCs. These young leaders are why I am confident in our future.
SPC Sutton saw a lack of bone marrow donation in the Army. The program he started is changing the Army thanks to the efforts of a few young Soldiers.
I am proud to be a part of their team!

We join the nation in celebrating #BlackHistoryMonth and recognize the contributions Black service members have had throughout our country's history.
