What did we learn? Urban noise, light, and landscape cover don't always correlate. We need to understand how each distinct urban factor impacts wildlife.

We found strong evidence to indicate that noise is inequitably distributed in redlined urban communities across the U.S., and that inequitable noise may drive complex biological responses across diverse urban wildlife, reinforcing the interrelatedness of socioecological outcomes

A spatial analysis of how transportation noise corresponds with 'redlining' categories of racial segregation in US cities is combined with a literature review of the effects of noise on urban wildlife.
