This past weekend, our Gamecock battalion hade the privilege of attending the Buckeye Invitational Drill meet where we competed in marksmanship, platoon and squad drill, color guard, power lifting, ship handling, tug-of-war, and the 13.4 mile endurance race. BZ Gamecock Team!

On Tuesday, April 4th, our battalion conducted their second Service Dress Blue inspection of the year in order to prepare for Mess Night. Mess night is a traditional Marine Corps and Navy event that fosters good comradeship among upperclassmen and staff officers

On March 31st, the Gamecock Battalion helped at the Alumni Associations Annual Golf Tournament. This tournament allows time for the midshipmen and alumni to interact. BZ to MIDN 1/C Strand, Greenston, Tsirlis, and Dunaway for being awarded the Blue and Gold scholarship.

On Tuesday April 11th, the Battalion conducted our final uniform inspection of the year with the annual dress whites' inspection in preparation for commissioning. Our Midshipmen looked great, and we are excited to see our 1/Cs in their service dress whites/blues in a few weeks!

Honored to run in remembrance. This weekend, our unit participated in the Tunnel to Towers 5K, paying tribute to the lives lost and the heroes who stood tall in the face of tragedy. We run for them, for their legacy, and for the strength of our nation. #NeverForget

This morning, the battalion challenged itself to a PT of log, buddy drag, and push up/leg blaster circuits.
