Our free paper by Harley Bruce Autistic & Living the Dream Steven Kapp from Harley's MSc Psychology and Learning Disability thesis on autistic adults' experiences with gender-affirming healthcare (liebertpub.com/doi/full/10.10…) was given a 100% quality rating in a new Autism Journal review paper: journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/13… 🙏

Our own Emine Gurbuz (she/her) found autistic (vs non-autistic) had less expectation of being liked. Greater anticipation of rejection related to social anxiety, not autistic traits. Study suggests need to change attitudes to improve autistics' social experiences. rdcu.be/dFfZ0

New article on history of the neurodiversity concept is published Autism Journal. Our neurodiversity studies module coordinator, supervisor, and tutor Steven Kapp co-authored it. It's not (yet) open access, but MSc Psychology and Learning Disability students have early access to his research where possible
Participation for study👇will ideally close over the weekend/by Monday. It would be a great support to Steven Kapp's student Chloe King if 3+ more non-autistic ppl participated in her study on relationship between autism & crime, by text-chat interview: [email protected]
Autistic and non-autistic teachers wanted for study comparing teaching philosophies.
