SHS Modern Apprentices helped celebrate Scottish Apprenticeship Week when they met with Mercedes Villalba MSP to discuss their experiences and our partnership with Dundee & Angus College. Modern Apprentices in the School help with administrative support alongside their studies.

Huge congratulations to the NHS Tayside AIMS group (Addressing Inequalities in Maternity Services), which received a silver award at the NHS Tayside Star awards last month for its work. MIRU staff from the School have been working alongside AIMS to reduce health inequalities.

We were delighted to host visitors as part of our long running partnership with LMSU, Kaunas, last week. Prof. Jūratė Macijauskienė, Dean of Nursing, and Prof. Aurelija Blaževičienė, Head of Nursing, enjoyed meeting with School academics and observing practice at local hospitals.
