This morning, CFL staff joined Gas Workers Union Local 18007, the CFLWAC, United Way Chicago and Peoples Gas for an overview of the Utility Military Assistance Program, led by instructors Brian Murray and Raymundo Tischina at Dawson Technical Institute at Kennedy King College. 1/3

UMAP trains and mentors veterans over a 6-month period leading to career placement with Peoples Gas upon graduation, and has graduated more than 750 participants over the last 12 years. At least 60% of the union-represented workforce at Peoples Gas graduated from UMAP. 2/3
