Enrollment for new students and access to enrollment forms opened in Skyward on Monday, July 14, 2025, and will close on August 7, 2025 (before the first day of school).

Attention Parents: Tomorrow, August 7, 2025, is the last day to complete online student enrollment. The only option for parents to enroll their student and complete emergency forms is to complete them online in Skyward. The deadline ends at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow.

Unicoi County Schools will dismiss early on Wednesday, August 27, for teacher professional development. UCHS and UCMS will dismiss at 11:45 a.m. All elementary schools will dismiss at 12:00 noon.

Unicoi County Schools will conduct School Safety Awareness Week the week of September 8 – September 12. Throughout this week, each school will conduct required safety drills. We appreciate your support and cooperation as we conduct these drills.

Community members may notice an increased emergency personnel presence around Unicoi County High School due to the possible presence of smoke. Out of an abundance of caution, the school has been evacuated and all students and staff are safe.

11:15 AM Update: After a thorough investigation, the source of smoke at Unicoi High School was identified as a stand-alone drink cooler. The scene has been cleared and there is no danger to students or staff. All have now returned to the building and school is operating normally.
