Chuffed to have a piece in Architects’ Journal ‘The Irish Issue’ about my work with Irish Prison Service on the design of the new Limerick women’s prison - ‘Prison as a Healing Environment’

This is another amazing contribution of Yvonne Jewkes to the efforts of building a better society with real opportunities. Architecture used to promote healing, rehabilitation and quality of life of women. A hugely important & vulnerable minority among the prison population.

At last, Palgrave Macmillan Handbook of Prison Design is published! A pleasure to edit alongside Yvonne Jewkes Kwan-Lamar Blount-Hill and @VJStJohn, to bring together work from amazing contributing authors, including academics, practitioners, architects and incarcerated persons. link.springer.com/book/10.1007/9…
