In 2023 University of Atypical was commissioned by Derry Strabane Cncl to produce 14 Social Narrative videos for Culture, Arts and Heritage venues. The videos aim to increase d/Deaf, disabled and neurodiverse people’s involvement in culture, arts and heritage activities.

The new head of Northern Ireland’s leading disability arts organisation will use her personal experiences to help hundreds of artists fulfil their potential.
Edel Murphy has been appointed CEO of the Belfast-based University of Atypical.
