Your character is tied to your values. What you believe to be true can change with new information but your values should be steadfast.

Just something I’ve been thinking about lately.

Never underestimate the value of having meaningful conversations with people who you don’t agree with. Despite the current environment of SM, you’d be surprised how much you can learn by honest feedback and discourse.

Just got transition (no line) lenses in my glasses. Woof!! This is going to take some getting used to.

Blackthorne: You tell him that there are 3 separate transmissions to a call for fire and a polar mission is worthless because I don’t have his position. Also adding 2 zeros to 6 digit grid won’t make it more accurate!

Mariko: the Anjin wants you to know he is in the FDC.

Need a smart person with a contact in the VA. Trying to help out a Ranger buddy but can’t find the right person. Bottom line, he has a service related injury that is captured and now requires surgery. Has civilian insurance so this is a secondary claim. Should be easy…it’s not.

I know this will make me seem like an old timer but I’m genuinely curious because it seemed to happen overnight.

When did we stop doing ruck marches in a full uniform? I’m not talking plates, FLC, gloves, eye pro, helmet, weapon. I’m talking, OCP sleeves rolled up , no PC.

I grew up playing golf with Tiger. I am not his biggest fan for reasons but I hate seeing him struggle. The game is better when he is playing well. I’d love to see one more Tiger run at a major just for old times sake.

Our adversaries are in trouble. U.S. Army TRADOC has figured out how to sling load tanks. Just need Nikki Dean and Mother of Tanks to start working on some doctrinal applications.

Don’t worry the howitzers are off frame prepped to bring the scunion as needed.

Pro-tip. Read books that you may or may not agree with. Just because it’s in print doesn’t make it true. Challenge your own biases. There is a difference between your values and your beliefs. Intelligent people can challenge their beliefs without compromising their values.

Read it.

I’ve started “Atlas Shrugged” by Ayn Rand a few times in my life but always ended up overcome by events to finish it. Finally got around to it with the help of Audible to supplement my reading time. Wish it wouldn’t have taken so long. A lot of folks today could benefit from it.

I will repost every positive article that Steve Beynon writes!
