Present were officials from Ministry of Education and Sports - Uganda. Discussions preceded the #FrenchStudyAndJobFair #HappeningNow at Makerere.
This afternoon Deputy Vice Chancellor Umar Kakumba, PhD met with Drs. Robert Salat, Joseph Willis and George Yendewa from Case Western Reserve to discuss the construction of a facility for TB and HIV/TB Education, Research and Care Centre.
The facility is to consolidate 35 yrs of collabolation with Mulago National Referral Hospital, Makerere University, Case Western Reserve Ministry of Health- Uganda, Uganda Heart Institute & Uganda Cancer Institute.
Under the partnership, more than 150 Ugandans have been trained in Masters and Doctoral Programs and 98% trainees are serving in Uganda.
DAY 5 of the #MAK74thGrad gown distribution is already ongoing.
